Leading GPIG in the wagon manufacturing industry

According to Mahtab Kavir news website, the opening ceremony of the freight wagon production line and the unveiling of the freight wagon sample produced by GPIG was held on 2021/11/18.

With the opening of this production line, the annual production capacity of this factory reached 500 freight wagons per year.
Despite the GPIG factory, Iran has become self-sufficient in the production of freight wagons.
Alireza Sheikh Taheri, CEO of GPIG, stated at the inauguration ceremony of the production line of freight wagons and the unveiling of sample wagons produced in Zarand: There is knowledge of designing and producing hopper wagons and freight wagons in this complex.
He considered the hopper wagon and the freight wagon as two types of widely used wagons and said: the annual production capacity of each type of wagon is 250 units per year and in total, the annual production capacity of 500 units was added to the production capacity of this factory.
Also at the unveiling ceremony of this production line, Mrs. Shariati, the representative of the people of Zarand in paliment said: Zarand plays a role and is crucial in the country.
She added: The transformation that GPIG Company has created in the #Railway_Rail system of the country shows the potential of the Zarand Industrial City.
